Our Work
The Capehart Foundation is committed to keeping our kids safe. We can't do it without our dedicated volunteers and donors. Please take a look at how we make a difference and let us know if you would like to be a part of our mission.
PALs (Peer Assistant Listeners) a School Peer-to-Peer Program
-
Participating schools carefully select a handful of 11th and 12th grade students that can support their peers in a variety of areas.
-
PALs will be trained in communication skills, active listening and information that is relevant to teens today.
-
PALs will be trained to keep an eye out for other students that may be struggling or suffering in silence and provide a safe space for them to talk openly about things that matter deeply to them.
-
By speaking to someone who really listens, teens can find positive direction for their lives.
-
Conversations will be kept confidential between the peers, giving students a safe platform to confide and open up to their PAL.
-
If there is any mention of a student hurting themselves or others, such conversations must be reported to the school counselor immediately.
Local Billboard
Our goal is to have street signs and billboards with a compelling message to create awareness, offer help and provide resources.
One of the hardest parts of losing ones child is the fear that they will be forgotten. We help provide billboards in in memory of your loved one with a meaningful message and photo.
Family Care Packages
You are not alone. Be Here Tomorrow will send care packages to help families get through these difficult times. Each package will be customized for individual family needs including comfort items and resources.
Please reach out to us if you or someone you know have suffered from suicide or an attempt.

We are so sorry, we are here to support you!
